General Items

Select a Message: 

You must connect each media file to a message you've created. Press Select to bring up a list that you can sort by various fields. Click the Title field when you are ready. If you are editing an existing Media File and you need to choose a different study, press Clear first and then Select a new Message.

Create Date

Enter a date (MM/DD/YYYY) or use the calendar function to choose a create date for this Media File.

 Server

If you have chosen a Default Server in the Administration part of Proclaim! - it will appear here. You can Clear it and choose a new one from Servers you have already created. 

Podcast(s)

If this Media File is part of a podcast, you can enter it here. Note, you can select multiple podcasts. These are from Podcasts you have already created from that area of Proclaim!

Status

You can set the Media File to Published or Unpublished, set the access, the language you want to use (if not ALL) and add a comment.

Options

Filename

You must enter a filename. This is connected to a Server path. So, if your Server is pointing to www.myserver.com/files/ - then your Filename might be 2025-001.mp3. This is put together with the server to create a path to your Media File. 

Embed Code

If you have an Embed Code to use to play this Media File, enter it here and then choose Embed Code for the Player.

Filesize

 Enter a File Size (in bytes). If you don't know it, you can try the Filesize Converter. It may or may not depending on your server settings.

Target

Set a target for the player window. If you set the Player to Squeeze Box or Popup, you don't need this.

Player

Set a Player for this Media File. You can use Global Settings in the Administration portion of Proclaim. Players are our HTML5 player, a direct link to your Media File, or use an Embed Code.

Display

Choose a Squeeze Box, Popup, or Inline window for the Media File

Download Icon

Choose whether to show the Download Icon, or use the Global Setting from Administration

Length

This is optional, but you can enter the Hours, Minutes, and Seconds of the Media File. You can then display this using your Template Display Settings.

Use Article

If you want the Media File to be an Article created with Joomla, you can select it here.

Button/Icon/Image

These items allow you to choose what to show in a list to represent the Media File. Select an image, then choose Image from the drop down. For a button, you can choose color, size, etc. These can also be set globally in the Administration portion of Proclaim!

MimeType

Choose a mimetype for this Media File. 

Popup Items

 You can set a custom width and height for the player window. You can also customize what elements display in the header and footer of the player. This overrides the default settings for a popup window.

Autostart

Set whether to use global settings or to have the Media File autostart. This may or may not be available, depending on the player you choose.

Access Control

Set access controls for this Media File. Most of the time you won't touch these.
