Creating or Editing a Server
When you first create a server you should give it a name. Then Select the Server Type. There are three types: Legacy, Local, and YouTube.
Legacy is any remote server, Local is when you host your media files on your own server, and YouTube is for YouTube.com videos.
Once you select a Server Type, you will have options presented for that server.
Legacy Server
Two tabs open up on the screen: Details and Media Settings.
Details:
Server URL path. Leave out the http or https and enter it like www.MyServer.com. If you have a folder you want to put in, make the URL complete. Remember: combining this with the Media File Name, you have a fully qualified URL to your media. Choose a Protocol (most likely https) and an upload path to your local server (though you probably won't be using that).
Media Settings
The Media Settings allow you to set some defaults for that Server. These are also discussed in the Administrative Help Screens and for individual media files. Please see Help for those screens for details.
Local Server
The main difference with a Local Server is in the Media Settings where you specify an upload path. The other settings are similar to the Legacy Server.
YouTube
The YouTube server uses a URL from each Media File. The other settings are similar to the Legacy Server.
